How "old" or "young" are you

Each time enquiring about one's age, everyone would suddenly become extra careful whether it is an offence to the opposite party, therefore, not very long ago, I've picked up this, instead of asking,

"How old are you?", perhaps it can be changed to "How young are you?"

Believe it or not, it does make some differences, at least the immediate response received would be more positive.
